How DropHaul Users Opt In to Texts

DropHaul texts only its own registered users: the owners, dispatchers, and drivers of the portable sanitation companies that use DropHaul. Each person agrees in the app, with an unchecked box, before any text is sent. Numbers are never bought, rented, or shared.

Sign-in codes

Where: Public sign-in page, drophaul.app/sign-in, Continue with Phone

  1. The person enters their mobile number.
  2. An unchecked consent box appears under the number. The code is not sent until they check it.
  3. They tap Send text code and receive a one-time code.

Account notifications

Where: Settings > Notifications, signed in, web and iOS

  1. The person turns on SMS for an alert, such as Job Assigned.
  2. They verify their mobile number with a one-time code.
  3. They check the consent box below and tap Agree and turn on texts. Texts start only after that.

What we keep, and how to stop

DropHaul records the number, the time, and the version of the wording each person agreed to. If they change their number or the wording changes, DropHaul asks again before texting. People can reply STOP to any message or turn texts off in Settings at any time. Reply HELP or email support@drophaul.app for help.
