Pick your app

Each guide takes you from the app to a DropHaul sign-in and back. Connect more than one if you like. Every connection is separate and can be removed on its own.

Set up in a few minutes

Pick the app you use below. Most apps ask for the connection address shown above (the Claude Code plugin already knows it), then hand you to DropHaul to sign in. Claude and ChatGPT need nothing installed, and no app ever sees your password. You sign in on DropHaul's own page, exactly as you do in the app.

Claude

For claude.ai on the web and the Claude desktop app. Takes about two minutes.

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
Click +, choose Add custom connector, paste the connection address, and click Add.
Click Connect. A DropHaul page opens: sign in, choose your company, review the access, and click Allow access.
In any chat, click +, open Connectors, and switch DropHaul on. Then ask “Who am I signed in to DropHaul as?”

On a Team or Enterprise plan, your account owner adds the connector once under Organization settings → Connectors. You then open Customize → Connectors, find DropHaul, click Connect, and follow steps 3 and 4. Free accounts can add one custom connector.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT calls this a custom connection. It lives under developer mode, but the steps are short.

Open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, name it DropHaul, and add a short description (for example, “Scheduling and invoices”).
Under Connection, paste the connection address and create the connection.
A DropHaul page opens: sign in, choose your company, review the access, and click Allow access.
Start a new chat, add DropHaul from the tools menu, and ask “Who am I signed in to DropHaul as?”

ChatGPT's screens change often. If a label differs, look for the closest match. The connection address and the DropHaul sign-in are the same.

Claude Code

The DropHaul plugin adds the connection plus ready-made workflows, such as a morning briefing.

In a terminal, run claude plugin marketplace add promotion-devotion/drophaul-mcp, then claude plugin install drophaul@drophaul.
Start Claude Code (type claude in the terminal). Inside it, run /reload-plugins, then /mcp. Choose drophaul and pick Authenticate.
Your browser opens. A DropHaul page opens: sign in, choose your company, review the access, and click Allow access.
Back in Claude Code, ask “Who am I signed in to DropHaul as?” Then try /drophaul:plan-my-day.

Codex

Three commands, one sign-in.

In a terminal, run codex features enable mcp_2026_07_28 once. Without it, the sign-in in step 2 fails.
Run codex mcp add drophaul --url https://majestic-emu-550.convex.site/mcp, then codex mcp login drophaul.
Your browser opens. A DropHaul page opens: sign in, choose your company, review the access, and click Allow access. The tab will then say the sign-in is complete.
Start Codex and ask “Who am I signed in to DropHaul as?”

What happens when you connect

Whichever app you start from, the sign-in part is DropHaul's and always looks the same:

Sign in with your usual DropHaul account. The other app never sees your password. From the sign-in itself it only learns your name, email address, and profile picture. Everything else is what you allow in step 3.
Choose one company. The connection only ever sees that company. To switch, remove the connection in the app and connect again.
Review the list of what the app may do. Untick anything you would rather it could not, then click Allow access.

The request stays open for ten minutes from when the app started it. If it runs out while you are reviewing the permissions list, click Start again on that page; if it runs out anywhere else, reconnect from the app.

If something is not right

The app can't see DropHaul in a chat.: Most apps let you switch connections on per chat. Look for DropHaul in the chat's + or tools menu and turn it on.
It's showing the wrong company.: Remove the connection in the app (see “You want to stop the app's access” below) and connect again. You choose the company and the permissions from scratch.
It says access was denied or a tool is missing.: The connection can only do what your DropHaul role allows, and only what you ticked when you connected. Remove the connection in the app and connect again to allow more.
You want to stop the app's access.: Remove the connection in the app and it stops using DropHaul; nothing else in your account changes. Claude: Customize → Connectors → DropHaul → Remove. ChatGPT: open the connection at chatgpt.com/plugins and remove it. Claude Code: /mcp → drophaul → Clear authentication. Codex: codex mcp logout drophaul.

You stay in control.

Your role still applies. A connection can never do more than you can do yourself in DropHaul, and it checks that on every request.
Changes are previewed first. Before anything is created or edited, the app shows you exactly which jobs, units, or invoices are affected and waits for your approval.
Start with reading. Untick the "Manage …", "Dispatch …", "Optimize …" and "Update …" items when you connect if you only want answers, and allow more later.
Disconnect any time. Removing the connection in the app stops it from using DropHaul.
